About the Position
Base Salary: 14,000/yr - 24,000/yr USD

As an engineer on the Server Team at Sixsense Labs, you'll work closely with the other engineers on the team, the product manager, and the designer across our full server stack to solve problems and build new features. You will be in charge to link the next generation of smart devices with the cloud.

This position is with a US-based company, but the work will be completed remotely. An ideal candidate will be proficient in English.

Responsibilities:
Learn about multiple technologies ranging from user-facing software to backend infrastructure and understand how these components work together to create a great ecosystem.
Build, test, deploy, and maintain features across our backend services.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineering, marketing, and sales to build new features and iterate on existing experiences.
Maintain and expand AWS IoT environment
Develop new IoT integrations for connected hardware products.
Work with the design team on implementing new application designs.
Perform unit and functional testing to ensure the quality of your work.
Work with the support team to identify and resolve issues.
Experiment and create proof of concept prototypes for new features.
Assist with the development of new features or bug fixes for mobile applications.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with modern programming languages (e.g. Python, Node.js, Go, etc.).
Experience building and extending GraphQL and RESTful server APIs.
Experience with Python.
Experience with relational databases.
Experience deploying and maintaining AWS infrastructure.
100% Bilingual (EN/ES).
