About the Position
Base Salary: 18,000/yr - 24,000/yr USD
As a Senior Front-end Engineer with expertise in AWS Amplify, you will work with various technologies to develop and maintain cutting-edge web applications. Engineers interested in this position should be skilled users of CSS, HTML, JavaScript, React, and AWS Amplify. Knowledge of additional JS frameworks is also advantageous.

This position is with a US-based company, but the work will be completed remotely. An ideal candidate will be proficient in English.

Responsibilities:
Designing and implementing user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that applications are both functional and user-friendly.
Utilizing the latest web development technologies and frameworks to develop and maintain the front end of applications.
Optimizing web performance and implementing web optimization techniques, including performance optimization, caching, and lazy loading.
Writing clean, organized, and maintainable code.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience building applications in JavaScript, with specific expertise in AWS Amplify.
Experience using source control (GitHub) to manage source code and issues.
Strong working knowledge of speed-focused techniques like async loading and lazy loading.
Understanding of RESTful APIs.
Experience creating an interface in CSS and HTML from designs.
Knowledge in UX/UI design practices for responsive design preferred; ability to collaborate with merchants and UX/UI team to interpret and execute designs.
